This was a hard fought match played with grit and determination because of the weather. The wind played a huge part.
First half was very difficult for both sides so at half time with the score at 0 - 0 it was a fair reflection.
The second half started promisingly when we took the lead with a well taken goal by Greg. Unfortunately we switched off to allow Silver End back into the match with an equaliser. We did not give up and kept pressing to get the winner. Richard took his goal very well and gave us three valuable points.
We are now in third place with a three point advantage over Silver End and gets us nearer to Wilvale.
