Looking to regain the top slot in the Spring league the lads where up against Blackwater League joint champions Silver End Lions.
Meadow started the strongest and soon put the silver end goal under pressure wih Joe Stewart and David Clover coming close in the first five minutes.

Billy longworth put Meadow in to the lead finishing off a fine move from Meadow.
Before the break Meadow extended their lead further when Jake Henley struke the ball cleanly into the back of the net.

A change around at half time saw Jake Gilbert go in goal for Ben Madden who took up his normal postion in mid field .
Meadow contiued to have controll of the match and added their third from a long throw in that found Man of the Match Ben Madden on the edge of the area who cooly sloted pass the on caoming gaolie.

Meadwo could have extended their lead further but was kept at bay by some great gaol keeping from the Silver end Goalie.

Meadow had to defend well in the dining moments of the match with Silver End creating some great chances to pull on back.
