Match report - vs. Latchingdon (away) Sun. 16th Dec

Another league win wrapped up for the Pumas in bitterly cold conditions at Latchingdon. Firstly, praise to the opposition for providing an excellent playing surface which allowed both sides to play some expansive football. The opening skirmishes were fairly even until a low cross from the left from Jon Need was turned into the goal by the unfortunate Latchingdon 'keeper. Another strike from Ben Marlow just before half time ensured that the Pumas took the edge into the second half.
In the second half, MeadowYyouth took over. Ben completed his hatrick, Jon added two more and Sam B, Will Young, Rob Kenny completed the scoring to take Pumas to a 9-0 win. James came close to netting for the first time for Pumas and that will surely happen soon.
Good wins aren't just built on putting the ball into the opposition net and the man of the match was Tommy Wise at left back for stopping any Latchingdon attack that came his way. Praise too for Kyle in goal for keeping warm on such a cold day!!
Roll on the second half of the season.
