First half We started poorly and as in previous matches we were all over the place and we conceded a soft goal, but midway through the first half we showed signs of life and created a few chances our best falling to Connor who shot wide, if our boys had got there heads up a little more when in possession of the ball we may have been able to create a few more chances as James Flynn found himself in oceans of space a couple of times but the ball never seemed to reach him, we did compete better in the second part of the first half without reaching the level of performance I know the boys can play . Half Time Score: hedingham 1 v 0 meadow youthSecond Half: I will admit after watching the first half I didn’t quite know what to expect as we were now kicking uphill and being a goal down, the we started to create chance after chance after chance we were winning corner after corner but we just couldn’t score, then we won yet another corner and Connor put in an excellent delivery and Alex got his head on it to score his first ever goal and the Puma’s first ever headed goal, this gave the boys such a lift and they felt they could get back into the match, we continued to attack and we were stopping any attacks they tried to muster with some excellent defensive work, we were having shot after shot and corner after corner but we just couldn’t find the back of the net and the goal the performance deserved and as the clock ticked down to the last few seconds Dallian hoofed the ball into their box and hedingham just got bodies in the way and the ball wouldn’t fall for us, so the final whistle went and the score line although unfairly so read: Hedingham 2 v 1 meadow youth
