Another good game for Meadow Youth - evenly matched against Beacon Hill Rovers. Welcome to new Meadow player Daniel Tutton who had a good first game, Well Done!. Good early start from Meadow straight to the Rovers goal but no result. Lots of action from both ends and then Tom struck an excellent goal - what a start. The action continued at both ends until a lovely Lee goal. The Rovers fought back and evened the score to 2-2. Stu suffered an elbow to the face and was subbed briefly by Kyle who although he had an injury had a good game and some great moves. Asa was in good form and a great goal soon followed. But this was soon equalised by a great goal from the Rovers and although Ryan had made some great saves this one was unstoppable! - Half time 3-3.
The second half saw a determined Kurt out for some goals - a great cross saw Asa score again and then Kurt had his wish with a shot to the back of the Rovers net! 5-3. Several unlucky shots from Kurt with some great saves by both keepers. Another goal from the Rovers and then the ball was up the Rovers goal again and with a great run was booted in by Nathan - excellent! The Rovers had not given up and got another goal 6-5 - but Kurt was persistant and struck an excellent shot - unfortunately it hit the Rovers keeper but bounced back to Kurt and he blasted it in! The final whistle soon blew 7-5 to Meadow - Well Done Boys
